TLILIC2001.

Licence to operate a Forklift truck.

This unit specifies the outcomes required for the operation of a powered industrial truck equipped with a mast and an elevating load carriage to which is attached a pair of fork arms or other attachment, for licensing purposes. This definition also includes a truck on which the operator is raised with the attachment for order-picking.

It is expected that competent participants should be able to:

  •   WHS legislative duties.
  •   Plan work
  •   Conduct routine checks.
  •   Shift loads.
  •   Shut down and secure Forklift truck.

Entry Requirements

Participants must:

  •   have at least an intermediate level of numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
  •   have access to a suitable workplace to complete the on-the-job training component.

Delivery

This course is delivered over 2 days using a combination of face-to-face classroom and practical activity sessions. 7.00am - 3.00pm

Class size: 8 students

On successful completion of all relevant assessments (theory and practical) participants will receive a Statement of Attainment in completion of Licence to operate a forklift truck - TLILIC2001.
